Caramel Pudding

I've been craving for something  sweet especially this caramel pudding.  So I decide to make one for my friends and housemates.
So here is the recipe.

The ingredients
  • 6 eggs
  • Half cup of sugar.
  • 1 can of evaporated creamer
  • 1 table spoon of sugar to make the caramalized top.
Utensils
  • A pan
  • Steamer

First,  put one spoon of sugar on the pan that you want to put the pudding. Spread the sugar evenly.
Heat on small fire and let the sugar crystal melts slowly. Don't heat on high fire because it will make the sugar melt quickly and burned.  Burned melted sugar will taste awfully bitter.  You don't want that. Haha so just melt the sugar until it turner light gold and turn off the fire.  Leave it beside.  It will become hardened when it cools down.

Then, take the 6 eggs, 1 can of evaporated creamer, and half cup of sugar. Mix them together in a blender and blend !
1 min is enough.

Next, pour the mixture onto the caramelized sugar in the pan.
Put the pan in a steamer and steam about 45mins - 1 hour.

After about 1 hour, let it cools down. After that, cut along the edge of the pudding.
Put a plate on top of the pan and turn it upside down.
Now, you'll get the caramelized sugar on top of the pudding.
WALLA ~

Best served when chilled !

2015 Resolution

Its already 2015.
Another year had passed.
Another one month to go before 4th year final exam.
And I am nowhere near ready.
Cry. Cry. Cry.
So, what is my resolution this year ? That anually typical question.
I don't really have any big goals for this year.
Passing my fourth year and enter final year would be the first and the last wish for this year.
Ace all the observed long case in final year without repeating any posting, that would be enough.
Oh, and I want to save a lot of moneyy this year because I plan for something big in 2016.
And I want to practice my driving skill. I've got the license when I was 18 and never drive since then. Now, I am 23, and need to drive around.
What else? Hurmm.
I guess thats all.
Just that for my new year resolutions.
1. Ace all the exams
2. Save money
3. Practice driving.
What's yours?

Briged Bakti - Kuala Kangsar Day 2

Briged Bakti, Mission Day 2 - 4th Jan 2015

On that day, we focused more on cleaning at different area from the first day. Not many volunteers involved. About 40 of them. I didn't capture a lot of pictures this day because I was busy with something else. It wasn't hectic as first day. Not many houses to be cleaned.

Firstly, we cleaned the school which was an evacuation center as school will start in another 2 weeks time. Then we went to the two villages that involved with the flood. Nothing much we did there as almost all the houses had already been cleaned.

Many organizations sent volunteers to help and this shows that Malaysia is filled with good heart people.

Kampung Pengkalan Ikan & Kampung Kelantan.

I created some awful memories here. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
It was sooooo embarrassing. I met one of my fav people and he recognized me. Unfortunately, I drove him to the wrong direction for many time. Bella was the driver and she totally depend on me for the direction. I was absolutely sure about the direction but ended up I messed up everything. We keep making U turns till when we very sure about the road but they already don't believe in us.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Luckily, we able to bring them to the right place. KUDOS.
Sorry for my bad sense of direction. I really need to improve this.

Briged Bakti - Kuala Kangsar Day 1

Kuala Kangsar Day 1 - 3rd Jan 2015
Around 60 volunteers involved with this mission and divided into 3 big groups for 3 evacuation centers.
I was glad that I was part of the team. They were fully cooperative and respect each other eventhough that day was the day we met for the first time. High spirited volunteers.

I was assigned to the third evacuation center, Sekolah Agama Raban and our task were to help the villagers that need help to clean their houses that were hit by flood. Not all the houses can be cleaned. Some of them still submerged in the flood about my calf level.

It looked worst that what i expect. The smell. The mud. Oh, you may also find fish while cleaning. Not to mention over expand dead rat that may explode on touch. Fortunately we didn't find any reptiles. We delegated our task and divided ourselves to five to six small groups. I find it quite hard for me to clean and update the situation at the same time. Luckily my group members were hardworking. sorry teammates.

It was a new experience for me. And I love each and every piece of it.

The situation at one of the victim's house. Initially, the flood water at their wrist's level and it took about 2 weeks for the water to subside.

I'm in love with this picture. My squad leader with one of the villager on motorbike. Can you see the flood water. After two weeks, it still not fully receded.

Again, I'm proud of this team. Cooperative and flexible. They are highly recommended for any mission. kekekeke

This time, the flood is quite bad.
A family lost a shelter from hot and cold.
Kids lost their new school uniform.
May Allah guards and protect them warmly.

Briged Bakti - Preparation

Briged Bakti PEMBINA is a squad that establish to provide help and support for the needed. The first mission for this squad was the flood mission that hit almost half of Malaysia including Perak. Kuala Kangsar was hit by flood quite bad I consider, because the last time it was be drowned by flood was 1986, about 28 years ago.

I involved with this mission as a photographer and reporter. Adhoc planning, uncooperative radiology posting, and unwell committees summarizes the hectic two weeks. But we still try our best to help those people that their house severely damaged by the flood.

Preparation

We organized two donation events for the flood victims. Basically, we collected basic necessities like clothes, foods, diapers, hygiene items -toothbrush, soaps, etc and some funds to buy some other stuff that needed by the victims.
Alhamdulillah, such an overwhelming response that we had. People everywhere from around Perak came and donated as much as they could. I was surprised by those good samaritans.
Thank you for all the volunteers that help us arranged and sorted all the donations.

We shopped till drop !
6 full trolleys, and we know, it will never be enough to those unfortunate people. May this little deeds give them a little comfort.
